The photo gallery shows photographs taken on a yacht voyage from Zaton to Sibenik. Then the voyage continued around islands Tijat, Zlarin and Zmanjan. Afterwards we went to Primosten. From Primosten we sailed towards Zirje island and back to Sibenik and Zaton.
We anchored by the Tijat and Kakan islands. We also paid a visit to a micro island Kamenica. What really intrigued me on this mode of transport is a possibility to reach places where it is not possible to get by any other means. I mean by foot, by bus or by airplane. It extends the capacity to discover places where ordinary people don’t usually go.
There was also a special place which we visited. It was a cave carved in a rock. It was not so deep. However, sailing there is the only way one can reach it. I guess it was used by soldiers in the past.
Finally, I experienced a feeling how difficult it must have been for Christopher Columbus to get to America. Not only because the Atlantic Ocean is more dangerous and has stronger winds. But also, because they sailed with the fact there might have been nothing at the end of their voyage. Either the end of the world or Hell.
