It is not so bad in the Czech republic, though. A survey has been conducted. The results amused me. It says that 30 % of Catholics think that church organizations are useless.
I remember a discussion about returning confiscated property to the church when I was younger. I also remember mood in the Czech society. Nobody wanted to return nothing to them. It was believed that they had enough. In fact the amount of property they have is very low. Especially the property which can produce a profit. On the other hand, they must pay for church buildings repairs on their own.

I visited church a few times a month ago. I hesitated to give away 5 CZK. I assumed they had enough.
Do they? I don’t know. I have sourced the information above from the Wikipedia. It could have been written by a conservative Catholic. However, I will give them 5 CZK next time as I want church buildings to be in good conditions for our future generations and to take photos of them.
