Today cigarettes don’t include normal tobacco. They include the tobacco which is like a chicken with water in it (to increase the volume). The tobacco goes through a process of drying and moistening multiple times in order to increase the volume. This is relevant to the European Union countries due to strong regulations.
Thus, less amount of the tobacco can be stuffed in one cigarette which means there is less nicotine in each one. In the EU it is allowed only 10 units of nicotine in one cigarette. It is up to 20 units in the USA. Today you can only buy a genuine cigarette in the USA.
The only exception in the European Union market to the increased volume tobacco are small sacks which smokers use to roll cigarettes on their own. The big packages are the increased volume ones.
The cigarette industry is regulated heavily. There are only 4 corporations in existence which own most of cigarette factories nowadays.
When a smoker smokes, a temperature inside a cigarette during burning is considerably higher. The burning at the higher temperature eliminates more harmful substances due to a perfect burning process. On the other hand, when a passive smoker inhales a cigarette smoke, the smoke comes from a tip of a cigarette. The temperature at the tip of the cigarette is considerably lower. This is called imperfect burning. The imperfect burning causes many more harmful substances to be given off.
It was an unwritten rule in the olden days that each employee in the cigarette industry smoked. Time has changed and the majority doesn’t smoke nowadays. He smoked in the past. He only smokes at business meetings today. Ordinary people have no idea how harmful smoking is. The corporations which produce cigarettes have no idea about it either. People working in the industry have no moral restraints and they don’t care.
